Thanks man! Got a go-to for the atmospheric/lo-fi guitar track. Chorus/Flanger and a strange plug-in on the Propellerhead Reason DAW called 'Audiomatic Retro Transformer ', has all sorts of lo-fi effects (added a delay for this one though). Plus the more FX and the more layers, the less mistakes you hear!
