Brazil is very large (territorially speaking) and has different regions, from places that snow (not even compared to Scandinavia) like the south and a few regions in the southeast, and places with extreme heat and in the process of desertification, mainly with the devastation of the Amazon rainforest accelerated by the previous government and diminished in the current one, but there is never a definitive interruption. In this climate change, the extremes are visible here, in the same place where it snows in winter, the temperature sometimes reaches 40 degrees Celsius in summer. It's crazy. That's it.

I knew there was snow in South America. What I didn't know was that there is snow in Brazil.
Because of the mountains, I would have put snow mainly near Chile.
Brazil is a large country, but I must admit that I know very little about it. Just the basic stuff you see in movies or hear in music. Jesus statue, beaches, favelas, Sepultura/Soulfly, football, samba, jungles, drum music, ju-jutsu... :) +1

Rio de Janeiro - southeast Statue Jesus, main favelas, jiu jitsu, samba and carnaval (I hate samba and carnaval). Minas Gerais - southeast too - Sepultura, Cavalera brothers, check for Sarcófago (great Band too). Amazonas - North - jungle Forest. Soccer - ALL regions love. South - More cold, but in the Summer, now, is Very hot , a RollerCoaster temperature. In the south check for Krisiun Band, extreme death metal high quality. I live in southeast, são Paulo state, the main state because industries, investiments, cold be a country with relevant pib, but IS more dark and Grey. Its a fast Idea. wealth distribution is our main problem. There are rich regions in Europe and, not far away, poor and affected regions like their brothers in Africa. Corrupt politicians, colonial mentality and absurd cultural diversity contribute to this. Sorry for the long text, but it's just to give a brief explanation.
