PaulM44 Thanks Ernie, I was hoping to compliment your bass and the drums feeling of powering forward. :) +1
Wade
Good sense of the chordal movement in this and making it into a more melodic line. +1

PaulM44 Your comments have really helped me move this direction. I moved several sections down an octave when it was approaching shrill. Removing the legato was a huge improvement, especially on works like this! +1

Wade Very glad if those comments are helping! Sometimes hearing through other's ears can be a breakthrough. +1

PaulM44 I doubt I will ever have the audio acuity of your great grey fuzzy ears! :) +1

Wade Well, if going deaf = audio acuity I'm very lucky... or not! Am losing a band of high frequencies so can't hear the balance correctly anymore. Maybe I should remove some of the ear fuzz? +1

PaulM44 I believe it is inevitable for all of us to experience at some age. The curious thing is that the latest audio test says the same thing for me but I can still hear fine in headphones in the range said to be failing. I'm not totally sure the tests aren't made to benefit the readily available hearing aid group nearby..... +1

Wade Undoubtedly there is some of that going on. However I'm just not hearing a lot of stuff that my wife easily hears. There's also tinnitus which masks a lot of things. The deterioration is very noticeable. That's life! +1

PaulM44 For now. We have some small hope for AI solving some of these problems in time (for us).... Already Apple has come out with AirPods Pro 2 with mild impairment hearing loss software -- haven't tried it yet. +1

Wade I have one of those types of systems and had great hopes for it. Unfortunately they only have wireless systems which makes the ear buds very heavy. They also don't have small enough ear pieces to fit and drop out of my ear. The company that makes them refuse to have a "wired" version, although it will mean that if running off one's phone the battery life is quite long, and the heavy earbud problem is solved along with short battery life in the current earbuds.

Very stupid and short sighted attitude in deciding for people based on what's the newest/fashionable technology rather than what would be the best practical approach for solving a vital problem.

PaulM44 I want through this gamut with my mother’s hearing loss when she got expensive full-ear-covering hearing aids. It caused her to hear herself talking like being amplified in a chamber and couldn’t hear any sounds around the units. She refused to wear them. It took a month to get the money back….. Yes, it seems an issue that is universal and needs a better solution. +1

Sounds real good Paul! Smooth and relaxing lines! <3 +1

PaulM44 Thanks Marc—it seemed to just flow out that way with the power of the chords. Another great backing track <3 +0
