As previously good bass lines from you...but the vocal is (to my ears) totally out of place. Takes a good piece of music and makes it flat and void. Such a relief when the vocals stop.

I'm just one opinion, and as we know many don't bother to give much feedback or express an opinion when it's a "critique". Finding outside vocal tracks that are a great fit is difficult, and I'm afraid that "close enough" is sometimes the "justification". That's not the way you play, so it seem incongruous when a somewhat random vocal is thrown in.
We're mostly instrumental players here, so don't need to appeal to the commercial worlds hang up about everything needing a vocal (to be popular). Your fine playing says plenty for most tracks, and I think you deserve more recognition for that. +0
