When Balder died came the winter
An awful mighty winter
Of snow, hail, and ice
Three winters to go.
Till the world is gripped
By an underlying cold
And snow descends upon
The earth from all directions

Then came the wars of annihilation
The evil ones assert their evil plans
Then comes the end of all the lands
Balers eyes closed shut
Hail, snow, ice, descends!

Eternal ice covered landscape
The tensions rise and wars break out
Through the realms of gods, giants,
And men alike, and the endless cold
Scarcity of resources
And the struggle for survival intensifies.
The world plunges into a state
Of eternal turmoil and uncertainty
The battles, the skirmishes
That echo across the frozen expanse
Endless winter and no more summer
Death, destruction, war, the End.

When you see Baldr dying

The end is near
The snow will descend
