That in my book is VERY cool…
As for your bass playing… man, you shame me on your precise playing, assertive yet properly restrained - i can be quite sloppy & all over the place specially in a spur of the moment/jam environment.. - that plus your elegant choice of notes & the quality of your arrangements brings the whole to a VERY polished, pleasant, enticing level….
