What a great driving, rocking piece of work!! Bass tone is really cool Joe .. kinda reminds me of the sound of an old top load washer we had when we first set up house in the mid 80's :O .. wicked brother!! That load is done!! :W:W

I have a dUg Pinnick pedal, has a bunch of knobs and buttons. Combining how it shapes the bass sound with the one particular bass I record with lets me do it, other basses won't create that kind of tone, just this one MusicMan, that's how I get it. Was really just a freak accident I got lucky with.

I had a feeling it was that Pinnick pedal. The cool thing about that pedal is you're using it, not sitting in a box .. awesome .. and the right bass! Nice!! It is like something you'd hear on an album .. does a tone like that translate to a live sound out of your amp?? (ok just reading some reviews .. apparently it does, people are lovin these things) .. tempting!

I typically just go straight into the board, or sometimes an amp with the MusicMan, no effects, and it's perfect all by itself, but recording, I need a boost to get it to cut through the mix. i tried the Pinnick Pedal and it worked great. I can dial warm blues tones, muted jazzy tones and metal stuff like this. I think the pedal was about $300. I also have a custom Warrior bass but it doesn't record on my set-up like the MM bass, but live it's really amazing.

It does sound as awesome here for sure Joe, matches up with the reviews, I guess they weren't lying after all, but they weren't amazon reviews I was reading haha

I'm not usually big on pedals but I trust this company, they make analog based pedals, I also read the reviews between this one, the Geddy Lee and the Steve Harris Iron Maiden pedal and this one was the winner for me. I bet the others are equally as good though, modern age stuff does wonders.

Cool! Yeah modern tone stuff, they've worked out a lot of kinks and wrinkles apparently. Does your MusicMan have active pups?

Awesome. Met Dan a few times over the years. Got ripper baked with him at the 2000 Milwaukee metalfest. He's a really down to Earth dude that just lives to shred metal/hardcore bass.🤘☠️🤘

Nuclear Assault used to play through New Englad with Wargasm and some other NJ/NY area metal bands back in the day, the shows were always awesome! Stomach turning tone here but it was a lot of fun. Thanks for checking it out. could use some growly vocals! :-)

Thanks for checking it out. It's a little offensive on the cell phone but cool in the desktop speakers. Total fun!!

Glad it came out okay, I know it's a little over the top tinny but it was definitely fun!
