Pre-lunchtime reprieve from working, thank you Nick! You are the master of inventing guitar riffs. Reminded me of the first Badlands album with Jake E. Lee a little bit.

Not at all, just dialed the "gain" and "chunk" knobs on the dug pinnick pedal upward. Trying to live with these strings a little bit longer.

Thank you for that kind compliment Ernie. I learned a lot from Billy personally through the years, he did force some emulation in what I play but that man is thoroughly unique and untouchable.

This is great. I took a couple classes with Pattitucci, he made me feel better about not having 10 inch long fingers, lol. Levin is insane!! I love how Dave Pomeroy is just laying down that foundation - flawlessly, total Ernie style - then he lays into the fretless solo - magic!! Billy is an alien. Levin's on a Chapman stick, Emmet Chapman lived down the street from me, I was at his house and he had like a dozen Sticks along the livingroom wall. I'm sorry now I didn't buy one from him before he passed, someday I'm going to get one and see what I can do with it. This video is amazing!! Not sure how I never saw this. Thank you for sharing.

I have a friend who got one and he does some stuff on it, nothing razy but he said it's easy to understand but coming up with original stuff on it takes some work. I just want toys to play with, lol, it's an expensive toy.

I saw Tony Levin play one in Blue Man Group in Boston decades ago and I was floored, I had no idea what it was. I honestly don't know if I could make it work, it's a weird thing. They have one called a Railboard 8-string, I thought that would be a good try.

Hey Ernie, I bought a Chapman Stick a couple months ago, for what it's worth, it's got almost zero play time, they are really hard to figure out.

I can see how learning some stuff on that stick could open your brain to some different bass lines, I enjoyed this guy's take on it. Sounds like he knows what he's talking 'bout (no doubt you've already seen this one)

Thank you Ingo. Nick gives bass players a lot of room to explore, this was fun to play to.
