Great tune from Koldov. Adds = Drums, Bass, Vocals I spent some time creating a drum track with pauses etc. Then added some bass, and then wrote some lyrics and vocals. The lyrics correspond to original title.Inspired by internet comment sections of videos (internet keyboard warriors) and the general lunacy. Let the chips fall where they may...Love to Hate the sickness. very entertaining at times..lol This was just for my amusement and fun. I posted drum add only and then drums with bass minus vocals ...

Major 3rd Thanks man! need to get a better drum program with some double bass more modern type of thing...used what i had..I kind of like the simple beats but some variation would be cooler! +1

Koldov Did you say you use the inbuilt Garage Band drums? It's been a long, long time since I used Garage Band, but it seems it has evolved a bit since then! I use EZDrummer (2) but I had a quick look at Steven Slate (SSD5) and some others. I've got to say EZDrummer just felt and looked better. It has some great beats (but also you can edit them in the interface or in your DAW). I suppose to get the best out of it you have to buy some of the 'expansion packs' depending on your preferred genre, but the basic defaults are OK. I just felt I needed something a bit more 'real' and configurable as I was having to cut up and edit downloaded backing tracks anyway otherwise it made the songs feel 'flat' with no extra dynamics and luckily I got an 'education' discount as I work in a school. I have to say I like 'simple' beats too, I'm not a great fan of a heavy rock or metal track in 4/4 suddenly having loads of 'out of time jazzy/prog' fills... but I guess I don't appreciate drumming as much as I should, to me it's always the drum and bass keeping time and a steady beat and anchoring the song to the groove... but I'm just a guitarist so what do I know..? wink

Not sure if Youtube is the best platform as I'm sure it does some compression (not that my mixing is great to start with) but you can hear the original drum track (probably need headphones as they aren't high in the mix... obviously wink )....

Major 3rd Wow, the original drum track DOES sound very similar to mine..Yes, I use garage band adaptive drummer..I usually go in though and add things like toms, cymbals, fills, and change parts..Mostly i just monkey around with it till I think it fits well..I like the lead in your original mix on YT...I might trying adding one in...I'm the same way...on straight hard rock I like a heavy basic beat with some classy fills..hard snare. We have similar tastes for drums..sometimes I like more fancy drums but it seems people over do it sometimes...it all depends..on this tune though I like the straight ahead heavy sound...cheers! Funny, at first I didn't like my vocals too much..Not a solid singer but I'm not too overly disappointed with results here. lol +1

Koldov Yeah man don't be disappointed at all! I tried to put vocals on 'Can't Hold On (Summer Breeze)' and in my head I could hear some lush country rock style harmonies but what came out was more like 2 cats fighting while a 7 year old badly played an out of tune violin, inside a trashcan. angry Honestly now that was disappointing shock and confirmed I should just stick to guitar... I couldn't carry a tune if you put it in a bucket and chained it to me... frown +0
