Absolutely perfect bass that sounds authentic... well maybe a broom stick on a washtub would have been more authentic? Ha! Love this track!

I guess this was one of those 'O Brother where art thou' moments. Unlike my Avatar, I've never had the pleasure of trying a washtub.. one day maybe.. :)

Well shame on you! I spent a summer on my grandmother's farm in the 1950s in rural (backwoods?) Tennessee. Although just a kid i learned to play the washtub bass. Good fun, but tuning????
