I’m going loopy !
I take no credit for this Just discovered I can create tracks like it using just loops in GarageBand without being able to play a flippin thing.
Perhaps I should give up playing and practice cut and pasting instead !

Hi Mikey, great! ;) In my humble opinion you shouldn't leave your art just for "copy and paste" because you are a great musician. But excuse me, "copy and paste" I would not call it "cheat", this is also an art of mixing if you know how to do it, I use it too often because I like the mixer too much and I think I'm a creative too ;) but I'm just a self-taught musician :D

Hi Flavio, sorry , didn’t mean to offend , I think what you do is great , It is only cheating if you pretend that you are playing when you are not. Loops are a valuable tool for creating great works and as you say there is a skill in assembling them which you do brilliantly .I am also a self taught musician and I intend making more use of loops in the future.Still friends I hope ?

Mikey, don't worry, you have not offended me and thank you very much for the nice words but I do not agree that you are just a self-taught, it takes very little to understand that (I repeat) you are a great musician with great experience and this is not my intention to flatter you. Good that you will use loops in the future but don't forget to play without them, please ;)

Good honesty! Many others don't credit when they use outside sources. As long as it's not just a copied track assembly is OK (shouldn't be recognizable as a complete work that already existed).
