Irish air # 2
Il n'y a pas encore de remix de cette session !
Traditional Irish slow air Any adds you think might be appropriate. As with the playing of a lot of Irish slow airs the tempo is not fixed , you have to feel it so apologies as I appreciate that can make it harder to accompany !

Yes it was a sad fact that lots of Irish and Scottish people were forced to leave their homelands in search of a better life and naturally they took their music with them .Thanks for the compliment :)

Didn't know of the term "Slow Air", it seems it has common ground with Native American flute play (when played solo) and with the "Alap" part of Indian Raga, which is also marked by the absence of strict meter or structure.

Yes it gives the performer more chance to be expressive when not confined by bar lines and strict tempos

Wikiloops is an amazing platform to experiment with the styles of music that I never have had the opportunity to vocalize with. Thanks to all the excellent musicians/producers, the sound quality of the tracks are spectacular.
