There’s a bully in the yard.
He walks over
And demands what he wants.

It doesn’t matter
If it belongs to you.
He still wants it,
Simply because you have it
And he doesn’t.

So he shoves you aside,
Grabs it,
And walks away,
Snickering
As he shoves it into his pocket.

You could try to get it back,
But he is bigger than you are,
And he has a large arsenal behind him,
Minions who always do what he says.

Tomorrow
He will be bored
With what he has stolen from you,
And turn his wrath on someone else,

Another helpless victim
Trying to mind his own business.
