Bit late to this party but I wanted a track to test out some new DAW and MIDI settings. Plus it's a great tune so why not? Went for 'spaciously busy' if such a mixed metaphor is allowed - fast hi-hats but spartan backbeat in the verse section, busier and heavier in the choruses. Also really wanted those dynamics on the hi-hat patterns as it really brings this groove to life. Not sure what I played in the synth solo, I just ...
