Why have you laid off? I had a 2 week rut too actually. Didn't feel like playing but I caught the bug again haha

After the last show of the year I got Covid. Once I had it, and I got o ver it, I lost the drive to play anything. I listen, I pick up the bass and mess around, I just don't have the drive to commit. Management is trying to line up shows into the new year and it's a struggle with venues closed and bands trying to get limited spots, I'm frustrated, I just don't feel it. I'm trying to get over it but for some reason it just isn't there. Maybe today, I have a track loaded to give it a shot but I just don't feel it. Like it's all for nothing. I don't know what's wrong with me, just down I guess.

I have noticed by best bursts of growth and creativity come on the heels of an extended break. 10 days or more. It's ok, just leave it on the shelf. You'll know when it's time to cruise. Just try to enjoy being alive for a bit. I've spent 2 weeks watching other people play video games on youtube. Clearing the mind has been great.
