Al-Fadista Recording direct into the Zoom R16 recorder through a jack. Have a Fishman pickup on my guitar, I can put on "pickup" mode or on "mic" mode, or blend the two, but I'm using the full "mic" position. Not an expert, but I think it's like having a microphone instead of a pickup, so maybe it sounds more natural, at least to me. Put some reverb and delay too, a little bit of limiter and a bit of "dimension" (on the recorder), then just a tad of compression (afterwards, on Audacity). +1
