less beans!! haha well I'm far from an expert at that game but hit on the fretboard around where it meets the body and not on the body of the bass for starters. You're gonna get some pops and farts if you're hittin on the pups. Practice and develop a touch for it is the biggest thing I guess. Get the set up right on the bass. But like I said .. I pretty much suck at it, cuz I don't do it would be the reason. The only tune I really did on the loops with any amount of slap is #162725
