A historic hurricane dumped rain in my basement which is the only place I can play and record. After several hours of water vacuuming and leaving fans on I found this miraculous drumming by Peter and it was a blessing. With fans still drying out the basement rug I made this track and you can hear the fans but it was such a nice diversion from the disaster in my state of NJ. Very sorry to hear about problems there. Thankfully you're OK. We just had a bad storm here too. No loss of lives but lots of places flooded. 9 inches of rain in 12 hours. My place is up on a hill, so no flooding, just landslides...

Thanks Dan. I'm one of the few people who (awkwardly) benefits as my "day job" is forestry research and I've just developed a tree that will stand up to extreme storms and store more carbon than any other. Will be a couple more years before it's available, but soon. It won't grow everywhere but does well in climates without much snow and can even grow at higher elevations in the tropics. Also developing a different one for the wet tropics that's a very fast grower and stores a lot of carbon.
