I think its nothing to be proud of, but I guess I postet 240 jams without a single theoretic thought...
if it sounds alright, who cares? maybe this one will be called wiki-2246-scale some years from now... I mostly post just the basic notes I played on bass... as Rob put it in an other discussion: I'm a caveman theory-wise :) +1

Greetings from... THE FUTURE!
In the year 2017 we shall call this..."wiki-2246-" Let it be known, let it shine brightly on those who travel this way, protecting them from evil! +0

great job Lutz! this is a tuff one, strange beat at quite slow speed, sounds like you found a way to breathe it!
you could have been a tad louder this time, hope you wont get lost in later mixes....
and now a real big compliment: I wish I had your quality in leaving that inviting space around your playing, while still adding something no one would like to miss. Thats a pleasure, so are you! +0

@Lutz yes, you are right it's F#major, but the circle of Fifths says: 6#. it's a bit tricky, because the E get also a # and rise up to f. but for correct logic it must be a E#
I needed a while to find this out:-)) +0

Declaration: I try the scale from Lutz, it works fine.
I look in the circle of Fifths and found 5# is Bmajor. I try the chords of Bmajor. it doesn't work. Then I needed the help of the theory:-) +0

Don't think too much, Lothar ! :)
I hear the track, I find the scale that works by ear and I play on it...
Though you are right, in F#major scale the f is really an e#. You let yourself confuse by the circle of 5th and tried the Bmajor scale, which does not work.
I think the approach to play chords in F# is not appropriate, this is again "oriental", not chord-based music, no CFGC stuff. I would use the scale and find myself "chords" that sound well...
or even better think melodic and play lines that fit... +0
