On rare occasions I'll wind down to a low C or something, YoWild plays low a lot, but I've settled in life to a 440 standard, maybe half step with my band and a dropped D, maybe Ill try this again and wind the e string down until it flops around

I always look at the original tracks so I saw what you did which made it even cooler. :D
I sometime leave my guitar in 440 even if the song is drop D or C unless I plan on using a low riff in a lead or playing along with the main riffs which I usually don't if the clip has a cool riff that's really tight. I like to learn them and play them for the fun of it but doubling them isn't good for the tight feel I like about them. +1
