I respect the fact you're actually learning to play the bass and getting good at it too. Instead of thinking hey ... it's just a bass, I already play 6 strings, it's only 4! I already know how!! Which is actually true to an extent, especially since you have a great ear and good timing already. But really two different things ... apples and clams .. uhm.. I mean oranges :D:D:W

haha, i definitely don't think that it would be easy because it's 4 strings. it's a lot harder, to me, to play bass. i don't get to hide behind some effects and/or fuzz, so makes my mistakes more prominent, and makes me want to fix them :D the focus is different too, i still lean towards a "guitar oriented approach" but would like to key-in more on the kick/snare/etc elements :) takes time and practice, but hoping through some sort of musical osmosis it improves my guitar playing :D
