Rain To Come
Wonderfully haunting and sparse track from FrankieJ here. Got a Death Valley feel from it, all rattlesnakes and desert, hence the title and vibe. Lyric is another bang on my environmental apocalypse drum. Space for everything - flute, keys, bass, cowbell, triangle - who plays triangle these days? Thanks for listening!
PS vocal is wet on the mix, dry on the HD.

Really like this one. As a former Californian (Californicator?) we had years where there was less rain all year than what we get in one day in tropical Australia. (6 meters a year average at our place in Topaz in the Atherton Tablelands).

Cheers Wade, very happy you like! This one was partly a memory of a trip to Las Vegas. The Strip was blistering, severe dry heat. :o Drank a lot of beer on that one! :D

Yea, I've got memories from the early 1950s of going to Las Vegas. Shitty little town run by the mob at that time. Still run by money, but a more diverse clientele. That's one butt ugly desert!

Brian - you hit hard with your voice and harmonious ways. I sure like your vocal attitude! Frankie worked a treat for us all here - and you complement him beautifully. Nice job.
