A wonderful experience, thank you OlivBee.

wow you've been digging in the vault ! cool dynamic approach ! diverse playing for a nice result :) the drumtrack sounds good too allthough the drumming friends onboard might have preferred that you post it separately so they could have a go as well ? ;)
Glad you had fun and thanks for sharing ;)

JoeOnBass I saw a number of drums on there, more jazzy than proggy, and the bass was really recorded to the drums I wrote so it made sense, but I understand where you're coming from, though the original track is still the same, so anyone can drum to it. Thanks for the kind comment on the bass approach. +1
Fishinmissio
Fishinmissio Drums are pretty instrumental in wanting to get your own vision of the piece..Maybe upload an HD without drums so there's that option :) +1
JoeOnBass
JoeOnBass The version I downloaded is right there, it's got no drums and no bass, anyone can download it just the same way I did. +1
OliVBee
OliVBee True ! but what *if* someone would love to upload their version of a drumtrack on top of your bass add ?? ;) your bass line is quite dynamic and it can be appealing to many members ... +2
JoeOnBass
JoeOnBass I considered that the bass was written specific to the drums, but I can re-record the bass and isolate it if there's that much demand for it. +1
OliVBee
OliVBee hehe you're right wait'n see ;) just keep that in mind for next time ? ;) +0

Great work Joe, this is cool and different!! Nice tight bassing with da drums to go along with OliV's excellent guitar. Sweet groovin' bass lines, cool when you hit it and get the sharp treble sound, kicks ass. :W +1

JoeOnBass New strings still sound new, lol. Dom't worry, Ill kill 'em. :-) Thanks for the listen and the kind comments. +1
Ernie440
Ernie440 I know you can play through a ton of pedals and other effects, but new strings still rule! :W:O +2

JoeOnBass After a few weeks that awesome bite from the twang goes away and I hate spending $20+ a month for the 3 basses I record with each, but when you hear it, I guess it's well worth it. The Ampero pedal thingy I bought has been really good for that chorused sound, I was concerned it would sound unnatural but it's really a cool investment for short cash to have different tones on the bass. I was never a pedal guy but now Im sold. Only took 35 years. :-) +1

Ernie440 Thanks for the link .. looks like a cool little unit, for sure! :W Is it nice and quiet? .. I bought a korg tone works years ago .. it's noisy and obnoxious .. really just a solo practice unit ...can't record with it or use it live. Well you could but .. yukk! +0
