Nick, I don't know how I missed this, probably during March Rehearsals - WOW ... and PETER - Thank you for the amazing gift to drum that you share with us. I cannot speak enough about the positive influence you've had in the literally hundreds of songs I've recorded alongside your drumming, thank you, thank you thank you.
Clearly, I enjoyed recording this.

I felt that intro by Peter was like a perfect meal for a bassist...and you feasted on it! :o You hit the ground running from the beginning (rumbling through the rolls) and never let go. In a great groove with the drumming, sounds like precision throughout the changes. 1:55 has a nice little change in pace before you get back to that sync style of playing. 3:15 that double sounding slide, super cool! There's little pieces of "bass candy" you sprinkle throughout like Willy friggin' Wonka :) :W <3

I was in trance with the riff, it's just a great song. This was a perfect way to spend a sunday. :-)

Oh yeah, the slide thing. Steve Vai did a video the other day playing a song with one hand and he used this slide technique to drive the note up the string instead of picking it. I had to try it and it worked. lol. He's amazing.

Very kind words my friend. I appreciate them more than I can express. These past two days I have taken off from recording, I actually opened the side of my thumb while recording that 9/8 piece, and I have two different band rehearsals Saturday and Sunday so I have to let it heal the best I can. You have made so many great recordings, I have a folder of dozens upon dozens on my desktop, I hope to play to them all. I cannot say thank you enough for the friendship and musicianship that continues to help me develop and grow as a bassist and a musician. It's truly appreciated. :-)
