I'd say in oriental music there are no chords in the same way as in western styles, but more of a circling around one harmonic center, here the B-minor. Harmonies less defined perhaps, but I was not born in Istanbul... not even in Marrakesh...

You are right with this. It's my problem, always want to play chords of any kind of music. next time only single tones:-)
