a truly moving piece by dan. the first verse and the last bit i wrote for the song. the second verse is a valentine's card i wrote back in 2008. the third verse is the cover poem i wrote for a memorial card i made when a really dear friend died back in 2013. i am always deeply moved when i hear this piece, which is often, i hope i have done it justice, and i dedicate this song to ...
