The benefit I have to it is that my friend who gifted it to me also gifted me a lot of drum packs so I can really dig in and mix and groove. I typically have the song next to me and count out segment by segment as I go, but for drums without music it's a lot easier to just say "8 measures here, 4 measures here" and fit in some fill patterns. If I hadn't got it as a gift I'd have never known the power it has. It's really cool software.

Wow that's cool, always nice to get great software for free!! ;) Was just sitting here jamming to the plain drums you uploaded, kind of sounds like the Indians are coming hehe with just my bass noodling on it. It's a good one!! May try something on it too.

Oh ...just checked your profile ... reaper and a focusrite ... same here! Simplicity .. I'm not a sound expert by any stretch but this combo seems to work well for jammin.
