No Rules Blues 2 (Half Time)
After I uploaded my previous effort, I thought what the hell. I had the project to hand, mixes were all set up - why not? So I've just quickly jumped back on and recorded this approach: a half-time feel I toyed with when recording the previous upload.
I'm using ghost notes on the snare to keep the momentum of the track subtly going whilst the actual beat is apparently halved. Other than that, more of the same. Hell, might ...

Both your recordings are good, but I think I prefer this one. The half-time feel helps keep the guitar feeling "suspended" and provides a nice contrast with the chorus.

Really cool to hear three versions of this. Pocket, half time, and PJE's double/quadruple time. Almost begs me to do a supercut of all thee. Glad you enjoyed jamming on it and I'm always impressed with your playing and sound too. :D
