I'm Not My Depression
Sorry. Finally figured out how to delete and re-upload. Apologies to those who commented.
Anyway. Another excellent slab of commercial pop from Sami here. Love it. Not sure which pop drummer's hat I got out for this song - Stray Cats' Slim Jim Phantom, perhaps? Dunno.
Anyway, kept it upbeat and kept it pounding. The intro and mid-song tom lines I lifted from an original song I did for a band in the '90s! Put a pretty short-but-lively reverb on the drums ...

Thank you. Sorry for being so confusing! I hate it when mistakes get out there and I only notice them once uploaded. Something hiccuped on my PC during the renders and I didn't check them before uploading.

Thanks, Cyphers. Yeah, made a bit of a mess of the uploads! Nice you like the snare. The last few tracks I’ve switched to my Yamaha 8000 mahogany snare for a change. Normally I’m on my Ludwig 400. The Yammy is really growing on me for recordings.

You’re very welcome! You bring such classic songwriting sensibilities in the short time you’ve been here. I spent a lot of my early years learning to ‘play the song’. Believe me when I spent a lot of my time being told off for overplaying! It was a tough but ultimately rewarding learning curve!
Anyway, thanks for the track! Looks like I might have a full time job keeping up with you! :D +1
