big indeed!... been a while since i did a tune with the qween... always love doing it though. so... oli's great root track has many contenders laying grand stuff over it , so i thought it only right that i cherry pick them, and beat them into submission until i made then all fit! we got the players on the branch below this ....PLUS! ernie440's great bas line from track 163149...( had to retime this for some reason)... ind i could'nt resist marceys' ...
OliVBee
super glad you super had super fun with us and joined with the cavalry :D the result is sure BIG :) do i hear a phase issue like if Martin's drums were doubled ? fine guitar you played buddy :) +1
kimbo
kimbo yep...as usual you are right ... didnt notice it last night at the end of the mix... but the drums are phasing a bit.... oh poo! :( +1
OliVBee
OliVBee i'm affraid this is the unfixable kind of issue unless you leave only one instance of the drumtrack ;) i'll fix you buddy ! +0
Wade
Sounding so fine and a great example of the quality of tracks that can come from wikiloops. Don't worry about the drums...no biggie. +1

kimbo
kimbo Down to the rest of em really....but thanks man. +0
Marceys
Ah yes! This is working great, your smooth guitar lines are giving it a relaxed and rich beauty!
Was wondering if the harmonics of the keys would interfer the vocals but infact it is surprisingly exiting and complimenting it in my ears....
Cheers and thanks for the ear candy!

kimbo My pleasure mate...thank YOU for the keys, all i did was use a ducker to get them out of the way when anne sings. +1
Marceys
Marceys Ah a ducker..... and what does that do to the keys? +0
kimbo
kimbo ...compressor on the keys track, side chained to (looking at) the vocal track, and set to "duck" the gain on the keys track by a preset amount (4db) when sound is detected on the vocal track.... simple, right? +0

now, Kimbo, you KNOW i had to go WAY back in time to hear ALL this deliciousness from Oliv's wonderful open invitation. So glad i did! Marc really shines this up with his twinkly keys, Ernie's bass is so beautifully voiced, Martin sits in the middle of it all keeping us straight, and your add is remarkably restrained and blends seamlessly. Sweet little bendy places from your welcome guitar. Glad you joined in, K-man.<3 +0
kimbo
kimbo As always glad and slightly amazed that you approve.
Olive gave me the stems, so hopefully i can do a proper mix sometime soon. Love to you and yours from cornwall. Xxx
