sorry, but i won't change my mind on this… do you think you'll find a sequencer as an instrument in Jazz songs from before the transistor in our house ? … well, as it is still jam, even with a computer, i Don't think sequencer can be a Jazz instrument B)

Nor is it jazz if it is not improvised live. Deferred Jazz is a strange music. I wouldn't call it jazz to ride track on track

hummm... and how Jazz composers are creatin a several tracks new compo then ? riding tracks on tracks, first in their head, then using the instruments, after… with other instrumentists reading their sheets… ? … it can be called jazz, as when recording a new one, we haven't listened to the whole last mix, and we'll improvise therefore in terrain unknown. I agree if we have heard the mix before going to record, and that's why chords are helping out in this genre, better not to look first… :)

you thought it was electronic… but i was at drums there… and it was improvised live-like, for sure… but i know i suck at drums, so, i used egalisation effects lot after, maybe it makes sounds electronic a bit.B)

But in this track my instrument is not a looper but a generative music algorithm from an image (of Giphy that is a loop), for Java synthesizer (a bit outdated)

i Don't get the point… you are in jazz genre, you jump into a jam for almost 9 minutes, in jazz, you Don't really think you can edit the whole mix to make a let than 2 minutes mix from a Jazz 9 minutes instrumental … ? do you ? well, it sounds like crap in instrumental Jazz i think, when you go with an arpegiator futurist synth… great you didn't try more than 3 minutes, reasonably ! thank you for your try but… there's an arpgegiator on your keys, that is egal to a looper… so, we are in genre electronic now, not jazz anymore… what a surprise… i didn't expect electro to fit with jazz, it seems it doesn't, or the new mix would be 9minutes long ! thanks for joinin anyway, and i hope you had fun jose…

Stoney, I see that you are upset, but please don't go over the top. Calling someone's music crap is not cool on Wikiloops, please edit that out. Not liking an upload, that happens but there are no rules here on what you can do to any track so if you want to double up or shorten, that's ok as long as it is not done in malice. It might not be what you personally like, but that's how it goes. The minute you upload a track, it has its own life. Josepssv has a very unique and avant-garde style that is not for everyone's ear, but he is a serious Wikiloop musician and demands respect. I think that a response like this would have been better: "Thank you for the add, it is not exactly my style, and maybe a bit too short - but thanks for joining anyway, and I hope you had fun" or something like that.

I do very long sessions in private but for experimental music I prefer very short tracks. Although they are not jazz or anything like it. +1

Yes people are complex. However, I am not attacking anyone, I am not saying that someone is uncool, all I am saying is the comment was uncool. I am not asking you to lie, only to tone down negative comments. We don't want to get confrontational here, and definitely not personal, that's all. You can discuss if a track is electronic or jazz or whatever, genres, that is fine and maybe even an interesting subject. All I am saying keep it civilized and friendly, even if you don't like the upload at all.
