Now i'm realizing that learning how to comp as a guitar player is a good thing to know. In jazz you can something put accent on the upbeat or playing the next chord before the first beat. It create tension. But you have to release it too. I left the bass track running so you can share me your way of comping on a jazz standard ! Have fun
