LittleWing Well ...thanks Mike! I cant express how much I appreciate that! Its actually a new setup. I used A schecter Studio 4 bass with EMG active pickups. I made it a primary slap bass.Heres a little trick that made a big difference...I have a brass nut on it. The nut is the same as a Warwick bass. This actually gives an Alembicy type punch. Then I ran it thru a new toy... A tech 21 DP-3x preamp/overdrive which is basically Geddy Lee / Chris Squire in a box. Reviews are thru the roof for this thing and whats awesome is you can tone it down and get some schnizzle for stuff you dont want to sound like Geddy Lee or Chris Squire on.Then I followed that with an EBS multi comp right into the Daw. Im still dialing everything in but its getting there slowly. Oh...and Ive discovered i prefer nickle bass strings now and have ditched stainless steel.DR nickle Low Riders are the bomb! I appreciate the listen and feedback! Thanks man! +1
