One of my first tracks revisited! This is the first one Ernie and Ray played on! Wee! I recorded the original Template with the great Earl Hiett, III on guitar in Y2K (19 yrs ago). Added keys and augmented the vocals. Thanks again to Ernie and Ray for resurrecting this relic from nowhere!

DrStrgeglv Yeah, drummers really seem to enjoy the experience with this one- make it EPIC (like Ray did)! +1

DrStrgeglv Last time I talked to Earl was a few years ago- Says he's way better now. He was 21 in Y2K. Sells cars in Great Falls, Mt. +1
Ernie440
Ernie440 ahhh I see ...puts one in mind of Big Montana and that unforgettable ditty you penned and sang. Certainly if he kept at it .. he's a major contender in the electric geet dept. :O +1
DrStrgeglv
DrStrgeglv There is a tie-in... I used to work with Earl's father (Earl Jr.) at a dealership. Tony ("Big Montana") was the owner's son... and for the record... he was actually closer to 6'9 and 400lb- but nothing rhymes like 7 & 11. +1
Ernie440
Ernie440 ha!! I figured ... there had to be a related story there ... played the big montana song for the wife tonight .. she thought it was quite a funny little story ... something relatable for people or something they'd wish'd they'd done. Who hasn't known a big fat f'er that pushed their buttons? Probably no one .. lol +1
DrStrgeglv
DrStrgeglv Right- In reality I didn't get fired though- his Dad thought it was funny when I brought him down during a sales gathering in front of everyone. He was almost as tall as me on his knees so I stepped on his calf to keep him there while I leaned in- What a great memory...(sigh). +1
DrStrgeglv
DrStrgeglv In that picture you can see his uncle Jim cropped in half- He's 7' tall for reference- +1
