So good the way you respond with the right sound and feel. I'd imagine that fitting in with acoustic players is particularly difficult.

Thanks Wade. I love playing with acoustic, I think bass and acoustic work well and it's a different feel but I think it sounds more natural in some ways than bass and an electric guitar (without drums) .. For me playing with just an electric guitar is trickier to sound like something acceptable to the ear. IMO .. anyhoo .. :D These two are great at the acoustic/electric bass sound.

Yes those two sound great together. What an amazing guitarist. From what you've said I know it's an electric bass, but it seems like they're sounding a lot like a stand up acoustic. I think you could easily outplay the bass player (although they are very good).

Not sure what Jack Casady is playing there .. that was many many years ago! He was always modifying his bass for different sounds when he played in Jefferson Airplane .. he's a really good bass player and they're still at it today in their mid to late 70's I think by now. Just kids. :D

Yea, sorry to say that's my "vintage" as well...old. Not sure if they have burned out by now. I'm still playing as well as I ever did...doesn't say much for my playing does it?

I know it shouldn't be true, but I'm definitely playing better now than I did at anytime earlier. I know it won't last. The shit that age brings with it will eventually catch up. Just hope I can reach a good plateau before that crap kicks in.

One day at a time Wade ... I think the loops makes everyone play better if they put a bit of time in! I've played in local bands and didn't notice any interesting improvements playin' with the same hacks all the time .. LOL including myself of course ..
