Well it is "free jazz" of sorts, but there is a definite sonic sequence/element that needs to be snuggled up to. Bass is a good choice for balancing the sound spectrum.

It´s original track. In the beginning , I had upload it without bass but yesterday listened your saxo track I think that your melody is perfect in the initial idea, so I went back to uploading your jam with the bass :)
