Big thanks to Alex for sharing his beautiful improvisation - I've spent the past days listening to that and trying things on the upright. Today, this is what I ended up with as my 7th+ take, no editing. When mixing, I wished I could have tweaked the levels of the melodic saxes a little, but that just on a side note. Wade Not really pissed off...I should really be more diplomatic!!! Just really appreciated the 7 beat being fully embraced. It's a tough one and since the downbeat was not particularly strong was easy to ignore leaving it to go round and round. I still like what you did but get much more of a kick out of hearing that creative 7 beat at work...it tickles the grey stuff. +2
