If Zappa Did Disco
What a great disco track from Cody, I thought. But it's Cody, there often is a catch-out for the unwary. And it only took a few bars after putting it into Reaper that I found them... Ouch. If you play straight 4/4 though the track, it starts to get weird!! This is thanks to some cheeky and tough time signature changes. At least that's how I interpreted it.
This is what I found:
20s: Bar of 7/8
51s: Bar of 3/4
1m 24s: ...

I have to admire a drummer who can keep the beat in those 4 inch platform Studio 54 shoes.

These bars give the right kind of stop&go according to the looping work from Cody. Well done Martin

Thank you, Cody. I hope I did your track justice. I just ran with how I heard the changes - were they what you had in mind?
I love how you take what seems a simple track and turn it completely on its head. It's brilliant and I love your challenges! It keeps the rest of us on our toes!
But please tell me I interpreted your template correctly!!! +1
