The Escape
This is my first attempt at pairing the lyrics for this one.
There is definitely a strong hook in there ("It's all been a waste of time"), but there are a few rough areas where I had a tough time finding space and a vocal friendly base... getting there=
I'm revising the lyrics to fit better.
This is just the first try at it.

It's a sad truth, ultimately everything is a waste of time ... life has no meaning .. time to jump!! I like your song, great singin' Glen. This progression, a bitch to sing on with those "hammer" parts, no doubt, but you pulled it off. I think I'd prefer to leave that stuff in as it adds to the uniqueness of our work. Nice man!! Needs tweaking, of course ...

Hey Craig- try this- Sing along with Erine's bass. Ignore the bad parts of my vocals and concentrate on following the bass. Then see if you hear "magic"!

I love the red parts and the first yellow part. The second yellow part is, to me, a little bit to hight in your voice key. Maybe the green part could stay free from lyrics (a craig add ???).

Yes, I debated myself on the green part, whether to leave more open. I have also worked the lyrics again because there are some words that just didn't flow well. I just need a bit more time to be familiar- Craig is going to be a great addition to vocals!

So what if we were to take a yellow from the right and place it at the intro, then allow the song to build with 2 verses before 1st chorus (YYY RYR GYR YGR)- a thought.
