Was gonna say exactly what eGil said .. :) Euro rabbit .. yum .. had rabbit when I was in Portugal, it was great ... domestic rabbit here tastes like cardboard. The wild hares I've shot here are another story altogether .. very gamey!!

Yeah ... not common like Europe but it's catching on ... my niece's husband grows rabbits. They're not bad but I don't find they have much taste grown on commercial rabbit food. They should run free IMO or be fed garden scraps ... The wild hares we have here in Nova Scotia are called Snowshoe Hares. BIG feet for going over the soft snow in the winter and they turn white in winter from summer brown.
