DaDumps Good of you to see the story in this. I'm less convinced by my playing. Should have warmed up better first as the intonation is off. Takes about 20 minutes of playing before the instrument reaches an equilibrium from the temperature in my breath. The smaller the instrument the more that factor is exaggerated. +1

DaDumps Just playing the way I'd be singing..if I could still sing. The "elegancy" is your way of listening and describing. Not sure I deserve all that, but it's certainly nice to hear. Thanks Stef. The sax is one of those instruments that allows phrasing and forming of notes exactly like the way people sing. Surprises me that so few sax players use this or even seem to be aware of the possibility. Kind of sad that they all seem to be hung up on trying to sound like jazz players from 50 years ago. +1
