My 2 favorite songs here are "Winter Solstice" (wow, I could listen to it for hours) and "Improviso 4"...
Bravo Jean-Paul ! You are an excellent musician. I love your violin.

Too many I missed the first time around

So good to hear this collection of tracks that I'd mostly not heard before. Jean Paul is an extraordinary player of his most difficult instrument.

Fantastic collection

Since I've heard Jean Paul since his start in Wikiloops I'm a follower of his, I think a very talented musician, in turn plays the violin as he adds those sounds so cool with his MIDI violin. This selection shows what is capable of making us feel like musicians. For me it is honor to share several tracks of this album with such a great musician :)

What a great album!

Like Acousticeg, I was also reminded of Jean-Luc Ponty at first, with whom my "career" and journey into Jazz Rock started - he was the biggest of my own influences at that time. But on Jypeka's "Jazz Rock & Violin # 1" album I hear a lot of influences, and Jean-Paul has shared quite a lot of really good musicians around himself to support his really impressive playing. To simply say I like it wouldn't be enough, and in fact I immediately recommended it elsewhere (to my brother, also a bass player) for a listen. What a mindblowing thought that I myself played with such fine musicians like Jypeka already; my own first CD ends with a title including him. So merçi beaucoup Jean-Paul for your wonderful work here! Love it!
