Hi everyone, Tono here, first of all calling myself a musician is an honor I don't deserve because my skills are very limited compared to the superb wikiloops musicians.
Years ago I've built several 3-4 string cigar box guitars, later I enjoyed modifying electric guitars and amps (old tubes radios and listening radio all over the world is other of my passions) and since I've had Dupuytren's contracture surgery on both hands, I've adopted open tuning G as my standard.
I've been playing covers of my favorite bands and studying some music theory on my own, but what I enjoy most is improvising over rhythms and progressions.
Since Im not a pro and I'm already of a certain age, my goals are to improve my timing by using a real drum (just for fun) instead of a boring metronome and learn how to phrase for jamming ….. and that's how I ended up here, looking for backing tracks and drum loops to achieve them.
Still very new to jam sessions, I'd be happy to listen to other musicians to learn.
For my musical background as a listener, I've certainly spent many, many, many hours listening... from the legends of Delta and Chicago Blues, through classic Rock and Roll, Punk, Jazz to Classical music (it's not fair name bands; you'll always leave someone out but Rolling Stones rock, they have been with me all my life.....)
Cheers mates!

Welcome to Wikiloops Pantaleon, we are happy to have you. First of all, you came to the right place because we have hundreds and thousands of real drum tracks waiting for someone to add to it. Secondly, it does not matter what your level of musicianship is, here everyone is welcomed and everyone is appreciated. Do your best, upload your music and follow commandments such as "have fun doing it" "Drink coffee" "only original material" ;)
P.S. you seem to have good experience in building guitars and fixing amps, we would love to hear more about that :W
