i've noticed, for some time, if you google wikiloops with your username, you'll get that google AI overview response, which is interesting. so here's a fun search for you, ask google "what does <your-username-here> from wikiloops sound like"
here's my AI overview from google...which really embellishes a lot lol :D
====
On wikiloops, rootshell (Nick) is a highly active and versatile multi-instrumentalist known for creating warm, deep, and heavily layered rock, metal, and blues backing tracks.
His sound is characterized by:
Instrumental Versatility: He frequently lays down bass, rhythm/lead guitars, drums, and vocals, meaning a track initiated by him often provides a complete, well-rounded foundation.
Tone & Atmosphere: His bass tones are often described as "growlers" with a great cutting edge, while his guitar and vocal layers lean into a suggestive, "dark" atmosphere.
Mix Characteristics: He blends various effects (such as heavy reverb) to craft big, expansive soundscapes.
Because he often provides pre-mixed outlines across multiple genres, his uploads serve as highly collaborative starting points for the community to add their own wikiloops.com flair.

Might get to read "MrSnuts is a poorly skilled idiot that luckyly stopped posting on wikiloops a while ago" or something of that type, who knows :D

... do they offer a link to <your names> profile when answering that, or is it one of those "let's not have the user leave google" answers? Post a screenshot, this is historically interesting, no joke - thy just changed their AIOs heavily, I might not see that state from the EU yet.

Ernie's starts off with:
====
Ernie440 is a highly prolific and celebrated bass player on wikiloops, known for his heavy, creative, and "stoner groove" style. He frequently adds vibrant basslines and "noodles" to user-created rock, metal, funk, and psychedelic backing tracks.

gotta love the use of the word "noodles" and "stoner groove" lol :D :W for a computer, AI is sorta getting this right :)

You mean we've been holding our annual international Ernieday celebrations (including the symbolic burning of the bass ceremony) for no reason at all????

lol I tried Grok AI:
TeeGee is a longtime German guitarist and very active member on Wikiloops.com (joined around 2014). He's known for his energetic, eclectic guitar playing across many styles.
Overall Sound
He has a blues-rock foundation with strong classic rock, funk, jazz, and experimental edges. His tone is often described as lively and expressive, frequently using a Fender Stratocaster (1987/88 USA model) through tube amps or a Roland GR-55 guitar synth. People often compliment his Strat tone, speed, creativity, and feel on solos.
Key Influences (from his own profile)Blues: Peter Green, Mike Bloomfield, BB King, Albert King, Freddie King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray
Rock/Fusion: Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Allman Brothers, Warren Haynes
Experimental/Avant-garde: Frank Zappa (he mentions Zappa multiple times), Buckethead, Link Wray
Captain Beefheart-style playful weirdness
What He Typically Sounds LikeBlues: Very authentic Chicago/Texas-style blues with soulful bends, fast runs, and good groove (e.g., tracks like "The Tofu TeeGee Dog Bone Blues").
Jazz / Jazz-Rock / Fusion: He has a whole album called TeeJazz - A Straight Circle — a mix of straight jazz, jazz-rock, and fusion. He calls his jazz playing "a straight circle" (meaning it's a bit unorthodox).
Rock & Funk: Driving rhythms, funky riffs, and expressive solos.
Other: He also dabbles in electronic, hip-hop, world, and experimental stuff, often layering creative guitar parts.
In short: Think bluesy Strat tone like a mix of Peter Green + Robin Trower + Zappa-ish creativity — expressive, fun, and versatile rather than one-dimensional. He’s highly respected on Wikiloops for his playing and community involvement. If you want specific track recommendations, check his profile: wikiloops.com/artist/TeeGee — lots of his jams and albums are there to listen to directly.

This is a mix of funny and scary isn't it? Should anyone run into a case where such a response is less cheerish than the examples we have here so far, I'd love to see that in comparison, I mean, you guys are no doubt great musicians, but to test the objectiveness of these tools, it would be interesting if they can tell. Not trying to incite a witch-hunt here, this is simply technically interesting to me.
One more: I know I am being picky here, but what Nick described as a "google search" was not a "search". People will not care to distinguish this in their everyday language, we simply "google" things, right? But we won't be searching and finding any longer, we will be prompting and believing ...
this will change the internet in more ways then we can foresee, and it has only been live in this shape for a few days:

Hello Dick,
I’ve done a different kind of search. I asked ChatGPT to compare several tracks I’ve worked on in Wikiloops. I’ve attached a PDF as there are quite a few pages. I think it matches up pretty well with how I see myself (if I may say so myself 😊). I hope this helps.
Best regards
Sorry PDF in french, I can translate if you want
