American Glue

Starin' at a puzzle, the pieces don't fit,
You can look at the box but that won't mean s**t,
But you need to put it all into place,

Stick it anyway it'll go with American glue.

And round about then you give up the pretence,

Telling you what to do,
Stick it to the man every day with American glue.

Sooner or later the troubles all start,
Everything you worked for falling apart,
But you got a little left in the can,
Only one thing to do,
Stick it all together again with American glue.

Shoulda done better man, shoulda took care,
Now everyone's a critic everywhere,
With their stupid questions coming in fast,
"What the f**k did you do?!"
You stuck it out as long as you could with American glue.

Yes, it certainly is. Kind of saying here that sometimes, even if there is a manual/guidebook/constitution or whatever.. It may not always make sense all the time.

In tech support we also often say PEBKAC. Problem exists between keyboard and chair.
