As an experimental musician, I’m often at ends trying to find interesting loops to practice or even record with.

You might dig for quite awhile and not find anything worthwhile.

Recordings that fall under the label ‘experimental’ or ‘avant-garde’ do exist, but are often pigeon-holed into crossover genres.

I would like to suggest the creation of a new genre ‘Experimental’ for those of us who might like to practice along with avant-garde recordings using
playlists.

Certainly, a knowledge of ‘who’s who’ can lead to interesting jams, but a broader
scope would certainly improve practiced musicianship, as opposed to compositional
skills.

It would also work if people would put "experimental" in the keywords, which you then can search for :)
I did a quick search and over 600 came up... interesting!
