Wow nice tunes ... good idea Gary. Always thought this Russian band does a wicked cover/s of Chicago songs. Great Terry Kath style lead in this!

Anything by The Portsmouth Sinfonia. I love it. Genius idea: take a bunch of professional orchestral musicians and play some very well-known classical pieces. Except none of the musicians are allowed to play 'their' instrument.

And joking aside, this is a killer cover. One of those rare tracks that is, to me, genuinely way better than the original. Okay, so the band are a wee bit 'Frat House' but it's a cracker!

It's not just the music - it's the setting too. That sun, the greenery & sea outside, and that breeze.

Is covering one's own song a cover as well? Anyway, still sweet:

And here they were interviewed about it:

Here's another one, almost sweeter than Audrey (and I'm one of Ms Hepburn's greatest fans):

Alba belongs to Joan Chamorro's school and was/is a member of his Sant Andreu Jazzband. Since some of them young ladies & men now start to make lockdown videos, I wrote to Joan and invited them here (with explaining our 'no covers' rules of course). Here's the film about them again:

I love that stuff...

Does this count as cover? I reckon so - just about. Sorry to you Who fans but Elton utterly nails this song.

this one earns a spot in the killer covers. A bit more rocky than Stevie, so a different feel and also fresh new elements to make it interesting. Killer bass part by Randy Coven.
