You may wonder what this post is all about. It's a virtual jam.
Here is the leadsheet for you:
|Am Em | Am Em | Am G | D |
|Am Em | Am Em | Am G | D |
|C G | C G | C G | D |
| F | G |
Bpm is 120 for these 14 bars.
Your challange is
a) please change ONE bar only. What will you improve?
b) please change TWO bars.
I wonder if someone will do it the same like me :)
Have fun!

i guess you should start at the very beginning and set a metric to your bars ? BPM 120 means nothing without a metric ...

here is a quick--probably out of tune rendering of this
Most importantly disregarding the bar amount set out and BPM.

Also here is a composition I recently posted here on wikiloops it has 31 visits. It must not be any good.

I just want to renew my question: which bar would you change in the 14 bar leadsheet?
I thought it could be useful to see a collection of solutions to a very limited task.
If you don't want to use the public forum to present your answer, please give me a PM. I will keep it secretly :)

What’s been done in a lot of classical pieces is the “Lobster walk” (kreeftengang in Dutch) play the piece from end to beginning.
For holding on a chord for 2 bars I used a ”fermate” (I believe “Pedal sign” in English) notated as * ,so that doesn’t count as a change of chords, and I lift out here and there a bar so that doesn’t count as change of chords either.:)
So that gives me 2 changes: the first bar (the last in my version) and extended the piece with 1 bar, that gives me 2 changes.
Looks like this:
Intro:
[[: G | F | D* :]]
G C | G C | D* | G Am | Em Am | D* |
G Am | Em Am | C | D#* || (D.C)

Thanks for your help! Just learned something about creative bars counting and music theory (thanks to wikipedia-authors, too).
I just discovered a NEW solution which sounds great. For the collection "never used chords".
Most important: music inspirations can be triggered by reading only.
Of course I'll wait for more solutions to come before I'll present this important change. Here are many composers at work who know how to write their songs...
