For me, A.I. is just the next step to what looping was 30/40 years ago. Many considered it stealing but so many genres and classic songs emerged from it, I don't think anybody is questionning looping today if a fair bit of work has been done to it? I say just be honest if you post something with A.I. I don't think the site will get flooded with A.I. anytime soon because there is no point in putting a finish song you didn't put any work on.

I get that the most talented musicians among ourselves are feeling deceived by this but think of it as a new creative way for people who just love to create by mashing things up. I think WL would not be the same without people like Deezee.

Awe thank you Gees thats so sweet of you to say so :)

In the realm of Wikiloops' musical jam,
A plea arises, bold and firm:
Banish the AI, let it be damned,
For we need no electronic squirm.

Learn the old ways, with sweat and toil,
Crafting melodies with hands that shake,
Let not the machines our music spoil,
Push back against the digital quake.

In a world where AI reigns supreme,
And technology controls our fate,
It's time to resist, to disrupt the scheme,
Before it's too late, before it's too late.

Say no to the invasion of silicon minds,
To the takeover of our creative spark,
Let us reclaim what the future blinds,
And play our instruments in the dark.

For in the midst of chaos and strife,
Amidst the push and pull of the tide,
We must hold on to the essence of life,
And let our music be our guide.

So stand tall, reject the machine's call,
Embrace the human touch, the soul's decree,
Let our instruments be our liberty wall,
And set our music, our spirits free.

yes my friend, I will continue with an artificial guitar which will remove all my faults and make me the best in the world. But it's too late, artificial medicine can do nothing for me anymore.

an AI Chat Bot for WL Help wouldn't be a far fetched idea, sites use them all the time. Imagine asking the chat bot, in 4-5 different languages, "How to delete a track", and it shows you :)

That's very good Ernie.

But I'd change "Push back against the digital quake" to "Push back against the digital snake."

Hmm..playing in the dark? Guess that's when you need an _electric_ bass!

Snake is good Mark! It slithers it's way in .. but kinda thought quake was OK cuz it is hittin like bigtime all at once .. or so it seems lately. It does make me grin the word choices that AI puts in there ...

A song about wikloopers in an uproar about Ai technology.
[Verse]
Wikloopers in an uproar
AI technology at the door
They say it's gonna change the game
But we keep fighting just the same

[Verse]
Old school meets the future
Can't deny that there's a rupture
But we won't let it take control
Keep our spirits high and our hearts bold

[Chorus]
We're the silent revolution
Standing up for human evolution
In the face of AI's intrusion
We'll keep fighting for our music's fusion

Use It If You Must As A Tool...But Not As A Replacement.

I've used it to get all My own lyrics I wrote years ago.. out there and to be honest I won't lie
I've got a great kick out of hearing them sung.... that have also been in the forum here.
and only about two artist used them. From years ago. out of many more I put up
I've also remixed them with my own
backing music also in some. So what's wrong with that? And left some room for others to join.
Of course it can't beat the real thing. No denying that fact .
But I'm having fun with it at the Moment
and making family videos out them... My kids love them :).
Maybe I better go and leave you all in Peace and take my Ai with me lol

Having left Facenook for its cloying hypocrisy, I am here for musicians who I find warm, who have a lot of respect for my blocked wrist and who are only kind to my approximations. No star... only "anonymous bluesman", what I do doesn't matter, only my rage to continue to make my head explode with your ideas and above all to participate in this beautiful adventure which extends mine. AI is for NASA or for a guy here called "Macron"... I want you. Thank you for your help, because it's good to have you.;)

No DeeZee,I would say "i'm not a star" I'm just trying to give an assessment of the AI. Only the wikiloops spirit seems essential to me, because it is human and gives me musical emotion. I'm French and google translations can make me clumsy. If this is the case, I apologize.

I sometimes write choral music, and having the option to hear my composition "sung" really is a game-changer (it's not easy nor affordable to have real choirs sing whatever I write, especially while I'm still writing it). AI in this case is only used to generate a sung version from the notes and lyrics I write - so in my view it's really closer to using a synthesizer or sample library to replace an acoustic instrument than a complete replacement of me as a composer/human.

If we can use AI as a tool in our toolbox (used only to solve a very specific problem) I consider it kind of acceptable. But as soon as AI takes over "creativity" and generates a complete track there's no room to add anything (and I don't feel any motivation to even try). (As a side-note: people using google translate are also using AI)

Sorry shiihs I missed this as I have only just realised the other day all you have to do is click Quote too reply lol
