I wouldn't curse myself like TeeGee :@ I'm more of a 'bury my head in the sand' kind of Gal ;)
If I'm not able to do something, I'll try the helpless female approach and get someone to do it for me :D

If the day wasn't going well I'd probably 'call it a day' and grab some chocolate... but if I couldn't get out of something I might throw a bunch of cliches at myself.
"It's a day of two halves"
"Don't expect mistakes will turn out differently if you keep repeating them"
"Life's too short to focus on trivialities"
"If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen"

"Non, je ne regrette rien,"

Wednesday 17th June. I'm early today but I just love your answers, I couldn't wait :) You really have to imagine this improbable scenario !

" If you were suddenly homeless, broke and all alone, where would you sleep and what would you eat for free ? "

If that happens, I'd go Shakira mode ""Whenever, Wherever" whatever. I won't eat dog and rat though :O

I can't imagine being homeless to be honest. I think I would find work, any work, and get sorted. I used to shovel chicken and goose shit, work 12 hours in the fields, I don't mind getting dirty or working hard, I would find a way to at least eat properly. Plus, I can sleep anywhere.

My homelessness wouldn't last long. Winter would kill me quickly.

After that, polar bears and killer penguins would eat my frozen body.
So food wouldn't be a problem because I am food.

"Imagine you just unearthed a Time Capsule that you filled and burried in your youth ; what would you find in it ? Which of the things you buried no longer exists or wouldn't be of interest to you now ?"

That's a good one Shamika, I don't know how you come up with these, well done!

Your question made me think about my life. Obviously it depends a little what you mean by youth, I suppose when I was 8 it's a bit different then when I was 18. But let me think about my 18 year old self, what would I put in there?

When I was at that age, I was obsessed with guitar playing, girls, music, records (vinyl), Motorbikes, farming machinery

What would be in my box:
-a picture of a black and white Strat, which I did not have and I was dreaming about.
-a picture of a BSA M20 1942 motorcycle, which I did not have and dreamed about for years.
-a picture of a Thorens turn table
-a picture of the future Mrs. Ghee, which I met when I was 18
-the Allman Brothers "live at the Filmore east" and Howling Wolf "London Session" records
-a portable cassette player
-a Levis jeans 101
-Cowboy boots

And here is the funny thing, I just realized:
It's over 40 years from then, and I still like the same things, wear the same clothes, shoes, ride the same old bikes :D :D :D . I don't play as much as I did then, and I am not obsessed about music anymore, but I still listen to Allmans, Howling wolf and most of the stuff I listened then. Mrs. Gee is still around, too :D (just).
The old cassette player is not around any more, it's more CD now, but still I listen to my Vinyl once a week on the 1977 Dual turntable, that came with Mrs. Gee.

Man, I did not progress much... :D

My time capsule would have to be big enough to store an old Austin 10 that had been sold down through a succession of friends in the early sixties. It holds more memories than any car I've owned since. Not the favorite car I've owned, that would have to be a 66 MGB BRGreen roadster. Tucked away in the boot would be an old classical style guitar, I'd spent months admiring it in a local junk shop window when I was a kid, it somehow ended up in my christmas stocking, my very first guitar. Last but not least would be the vintage Grundig TK14 reel to reel tape recorder that I spent hours in my bedroom recording my first ever songs.

I enjoyed the last answers very much. However, the problem with that question is that it 'ages' us and while some folk are proud of their age, others like to avoid facing the truth publically :D I'll just say that when I open my box it would by full of exercise equipment, healthy lifestyle books, leotards and running shoes...... all totally useless to me now :(
I believe for many of us it could be very hot this weekend, so let's chill out by the pool with some cool friends and refreshments.

QUESTION ... " You've been asked to organise a pool party. You're in a Hypermarket with an empty trolley and a large van in the car park, what would you buy? Would your party have a theme? "

I'd buy up all the left over St Patricks day decorations and green beer and have my party at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting pool, I like everything to be color-coordinated. Activities could include bobbing for green gages, leep frog, algae and spoon racing, pin the tail on Shrek and pea green boat racing for owls and pussy cats. The theme music for sure would be Rhapsody in Green. All those green with envy are invited ;)

Not many takers for the Party planning idea but thank you Gerry... I'd come to that party :)

Monday's Question

I look around, but all I see are people running away from me. I guess no one wants to hear bass solos.😂
